Situation

• Growth is a perennial business target.

Response

• During the early 90's numerous SMEs signed up to the DTI's Enterprise Initiative for a marketing review.
• Over a two-year period the consultant worked with approaching 20 different businesses across the East and South East of England:

• The consultant assessed these operations' capabilities and provided stabilisation measures and/or growth plans that would safeguard operations and/or propel the businesses forward.
• Every marketing proposal was vetted by the Cranfield School of Management and the consultant's documentation regularly exceeded the required set standard.

Results

• Many of the businesses dealt with thrived as a direct consequence of the consultant's input.
