Providing a bridge between national policy and local activity

Situation

• The Forum's passive archive website required upgrading.

Response

• As a result of his successful input on the Forum's Action Plan, the consultant was commissioned to re-develop the site so that it promoted this Plan and better met the needs of the East of England wildlife trusts in their pursuit of co-ordinated conservation policies and plans.

Results

• A highly valuable tool was created that de-constructed the Action Plan into a series of tactical activity building blocks.

• An effective bridge was built between national policy and local activity.
• Plus an inexpensive 30pp on-line habitats brochure was also devised and installed on site.
