Impressive 'down-load' of a team's greenspace experiences
Situation
- Prior to a team leader's departure to Canada his experience on two key GI/greenspace development projects were to be captured.
Response
- VA was commissioned to undertake the necessary research and create an impressive 'hard-copy download' of the team leader's experience.
Results
- A 60+pp. 'download' document and accompanying CD (containing an archive of relevant documentation) was created.
- It graphically presented the GI development process and has proved to be an extremely persuasive 'sales' device.
Value Added
When presented to the Secretary of State for the Environment the 'download' document instantly secured his agreement to visit the two Forestry Commission GI/greenspace projects concerned. Other ministerial visits duly followed.
This outcome had eluded the Forestry Commission's Board for the previous five years! Proving that the pen is mightier than the word?
